Fluval 406 and GFO

I am setting up a SW tank and was wondering if I could place GFO in a fluval 406 or would I need to have a separate reactor

GFO needs to tumble. A canister filter won't do a good job of doing this. GFO is best to run in a reactor so it can tumble at a 'slow boil'.
