Fluval co2 kit 45g

Hi I have a 40 gallon tank and I want to to start having co2 for my tank but I donít understand is the fluval co2 kit 45g for a 45 gallon van I use it for a 40 gal since it at my pet store and I donít have access to online shopping so thatís why Iím asking please help

The 45g the g is grams and I found I should get a 80g co2 filter about that for my 40 gal

Realistically you should get a minimum of 5 pounds of CO2 for a 40 gallon tank. You'll be spending a fortune in refills on that Fluval kit, and be changing cartridges several times a week.
