Fluval fx5

Hey guys,
Just seeing what peoples opinions/advice is on the Fluval fx5.

So far I really like it. Its running on a 75 gal tank right now, and it has awesome flow and stuff. I bought it used but I t seems to be in good shape!

It has been cycling where it kind of sputters a little. It will will flow good for about 10 seconds and stop/slowdown for like 2 seconds. Is that normal?

Could be air coming out of pipe, lose the big downward loop. Fix up to shelf bottom, cut to length, take your time!
Both of mine work great, impeller clean is a pain. If it doesn't start after you switch it back on that is the problem. First test took 15 months. I clean impeller 12 months.
Should switch off after 1 minute for 1 minute then start up again. This lets air trapped in filter escape, if there is a loop on outflow air becomes trapped before U bend, plumbers 101.
