I have an FX5 running on a 170 gal Cichlid tank. It has recently finished cycling. Has been running for around 3 months. No issues until now. when the FX5 does its daily air purge, it shoots hundreds of small white chunks of ??something?? into the water. Due to the setup which has hard piped return pipes and spray bars versus the flexible hose I cannot remove the piping to clean it. Any ideas what this could be or why it is occuring? I have ran canisters and hard piped returns for 19 years with no issues. I appreciate your help.
