I want to set up a sump and my tank isnt drilled, which overflow should i get? The deluxe CPR overflow with lifting pump or Toms aquatics pro skimmer overflow? Anyone have experiences with these overflows?

Haven't had experience with those but why not make your own? Much cheaper and have more freedom to design it how you want it

I mean i guess i could, but im not really much of a DYI guy, im mainly concerned about the power going out and flooding my house lol

Ah I see. If it is designed properly it will never fail. There are several fail safes to keep from losing suction or flooding.
