Halogen lighting over aquariums? Why not?

Why wouldn't you be able to use halogen lighting over your aquarium? I have some lights similar to these in my portable building and they are super bright!

Do they not do well in moist environments?
Higher than m.h. lighting power consumption?
Why not?

Lighting spectrum and heat would be my concerns.

im unsure how u could alter and maintain the spectrum probs but the heat can be solved by a chiller imo.

Very Hot! Worse then halides (Pound for pound) in heat production. Would be like a spot light over your tank.

Heat issues can always be solved but the color spectrum of the bulb cannot. That is the problem with halogen is they are low k.

Heat can be solved, but the cost of a chiller system can outweigh the savings of the light. Also, there is still the spectrum issue.

What is colour the temp of a halogen? They apparently have a CRI of 100, so I would think the colour spectrum would have to match daylight fairly closely.
