hang on back filters

My buddy gave me a tetra tec PF500 and a tetra tec PF300 hang on filters, does anyone know how good these are?

I have never heard of it, but if it does the proper gph it will work fine. Of course modifications will likely help the efficiency of the filter....

They look really nice n have built in wave makers but not quite sure on the gph. I do know these filters are huge! The PF500 holds 5 gallons.

Yea I'll take one. It's really long n deep n I counted 4 gal while filling it

Seems like people that are talking about the 500 like it. Pretty cool that it has the capacity to hold a heater.
