Set up a *new to me* 65g tank this autumn & after the hubby got it in place & filled, decorated and populated I discovered that the haze on my *front* glass is not just something that can be washed off. It disappears when wet but returns as soon as the glass dries. I could try turning it around as it doesn't look like there is anything on the back glass but I can't be sure & it is situated in such an awkward spot I don't want to go to the hassle of rotating it only to discover there is something on the *back* glass too. Anything I can try before doing this?

did you try buffing it with a clean cotton rag ?
I take this tank is being reused it could have had a background on this side
water build up between a back ground could have caused this some time in the past.

try using some white vinegar on a rag and wipe it clean , this should help remove any residue you see on the glass . than buff dry with another dry cotton rag .

let us know if that helps.
