Heater: Horizontal or vertical?

Horizontal in all of my FW toward the bottom. Easier to hide and when I do water changes, I don't have to fuss with it. As far as adjusting it...I haven't done that in ages. Like the Ronco Rotissory Oven...Set it and forget it.
