Hi everyone...

In my 20 gallon tank I have a submursible 100watt (or volt, not sure) heater, I have it set at 30, Im trying to have it higher to get rid of cloudy eye, anyways, my thermometer, does not say 30 its at 26. I have tried another as well and its showed the same thing. My house is cool, its minus 10-minus 30 outside at night right now, I turn the heat down at night, so this MAY be the problem... shoudl I then turn my heater up to 32 and see what it does??

thanks for the help

The thermostat on a heater is not always correct, use a thermometer that actually goes in the water (not one of them rubbish sticker strips) and go by that. Just be sure to check it a different intervals in the day because it will vary depending on the heat of the room in which you keep your tank :)
