I have a 75 gallon reef tank and my heater (a Deep Blue 300W submersible) somehow got water on the inside and is obviously no longer safe to use. As the weather is cooling off, I'm going to need to replace it. I want to get something that is NOT glass but of course submersible. I've been looking at the Aqueon Pro (plastic), the Fluval E (plastic), and the Finnex HMO (titanium). I'm not necessarily locked into any one of these, but these look like my best bets and are in my price bracket.

I'm open to other suggestions and would like everyone's recommendations.

Thanks,

Michael

Ebo Jäger is now Eheim Jäger, and they are glass, which I'm trying to stay away from.

Sorry didn't see the not glass part. How come you are staying away from glass out of curiosity?

I want it to go in my sump which is crowded, and I'm fearful of breaking it when I have to rake around in there.
