I bought a Fluval 100 watt and I have a 60 day return on it. So now I have 250 watts of heat. I hope this does it. The Fluval says it will go no more than 18 degrees higher than room temp.

Id just get a heater rated for a 40-50g and call it a day, unless your using a bubble filter you should have good circulation off your filter.
