I ordered a new emporer 400 from big al's about a month ago, i set it up and everything was fine. Today, when I was changing the water, I unplugged the filter so when the sand stirred up it wouldn't get into the impeller. Afterwards, when I plugged it back in, I primed it and it makes this chugging noise and sucks up air. I cleaned it, took everything apart and put it back together again and primed it up and it still doesn't work. If I prime it all the way to the top, it will work for about 30 seconds and then goes back to chugging air. Can anyone familiar with this filter tell me what to do??? Thanks!!!
