Help on Lighting

I just got a 55 gallon tank and have a prizm deluxe skimmer, a odyssea canister, and all i need now is a good lighting system. Metal halide is a little to much on the pocket book. I have 35 pounds of live rock and want them to thrive and have good growth. i am thinking of going with high compact in this setup

That would definitely be enough to sustain all the life on your LR. You could also keep a plethora of low to medium light corals like zoos, shrooms, leathers, and some LPS as well. That lighting will provide you w/ many options. Good luck
