Hey all, I want to get an actual hood.
My current one is mesh with no built in lights or feeder holes. Really a pita to deal with.
I have a 29 gal tank 30x12 iirc. Same hood as a 20 long.
Things that id like to have in my hood
1) quality, don't want it to break super easy.
2) feeder hole
3) built in lights, my tank is planted
a) I do like the idea of a normal day/white/whatever light and a moon/blue light for night time use. I don't plan on leaving it on as a night light, so no need for attacks...
b) my tank is by a window, not in direct sunlight, yes the water remains at a constant temp.
4) bang per buck, not too worried about aesthetics
