Help with external UV pump

Have just bought a D&D 10W UV unit, it recommends a flow rate of no more than 500l/hr but I am having real trouble finding a self priming pump that will get anywhere near this????

The closest I have got is by hanging the unit off the lid of my tank & running a Maxijet MP1200 powerhead, this gives me about 250l/hr, I have also tried an Ehiem 600 & Maxijet 1000 which are no better???

I don't run a canister filter atm, though if it meant a better flow rate then I'd have one as I could also run GAC & RowaPhos in it.

The only thing is whatever I use must be able to reprime itself in a powercut or if I turn it off/on for any reason....

Many Thanks,

Shelton.
