Guys excuse me if this is a really stupid question as I have zero experience with this thing. I am new to running an aquarium (much more complicated than I imagined). I have a 55 gallon tank. I put an emperor 400 on it the day I set it up. It seemed to be working fine. It does get suction, the wheels turn and water comes out the return. As far as I knew/Know it is working as its supposed to. After reading alot (esp here) I realized I prob should have a second filter on it as well. so i put a penguin 350 on there as well. The Penguin has a much greater water return , actually shooting down into the water and seems to be suctioning water at a higher frequency than the emperor. So do I have a problem with one of them? neither of them? Any input would be appreciated.
