Hi,
I have Eheim professional II. It is dripping water from the stop/hose joint. Any idea how to fix it?
I tried teflon tape and metal clamps - didn't work. Should I put more tape? Can I use regual electrical tape or will its glue kill the clown/damsel fish /anemone in my tank?

I'm hesitant about using silicon / hot glue just in case I'll need to change hoses.
Thanks for suggestions

as long as you already have the clamp, get a piece of rubber (old bike tire tube perhaps) , wrap that around and clamp it down.

The best solution however is to find the cause and not the leak
I don't think that will work because that will create a "step" where the end of rubber will be. Possible cause - old hose. I'll also try to cut off the end where it used to be connected (about 1") and will let you know if that'll fix it.
