How and why to use a Bubble counter

I am about to start up a home CO2 system. I was wondering why do people use a bubble counter? Is there a certain amount of bubbles per second for a 29 gallon? Is there an equation? Thanks!

Short answer: to determine CO2 flow rate. In addition, for a 29 gallon I would say 1-2 BBS. Here is a good read on CO2 injection. There is some good info here...Darkblade48 knows his stuff. Pressurized CO2...Just thought I'd share.
