How good would this fluidized sand bed filter work?

It is a lifeguard fb300 fluidized bed filter up to 300 gallons. It would go on the 150 i am getting. It will be heavily stocked.
X1-2 oscars
X1 red devil - maybe
X1 maybe a festae
X2-4 jewels
X2-4 convicts
X5 pictus cats

The lifeguard unit is ok


Things like this you can get cheaper on eBay
