How much gravel is enough gravel?

If I was doing a planted tank I would go with sand hands down.
But with fake plants its either or, doesn't really mater ............ One looks better then the other, one is easier to clean.

Well you have to take into account what type of fish you getting also and what's there liking

My concern with sand is that I'm worried it will turn the water cloudy and will be hard to clean with a Python. I kind of leaning towards Eco Complete.
