How to Fix Heater Stuck On

I have a 1 month old 300 watt Hydor Theo Heater that is stuck on. I have it set for 78 degrees but noticed it got up to 88 before I noticed it. Luckily no fish died. I have an email in to Hydor asking about a replacement. Not sure I will get an answer back. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this?

I wouldn't mess with it, it will most likely void the warranty. I would go out and get a cheapo heater until they send you a new one. I know Marineland replaces their heaters, not sure about the brand you have.
