how to make a quick sponge filter for QT??

You should be keeping a sponge in the sump of the DT so you always have one ready. At a minimum, run a sponge in the DT for a week before buying new fish. If it's too late either take the fish back for a week, or do twice daily 20% pwc in the QT tank for a week or so until the filter becomes active for the bioload.
