That was a concern for my small tank but the catch-22 is small tanks can look pretty cluttered with filter pipes, a drop checker, ph probe, thermometer, in tank heater, co2 reactor, hardscape.. There aren't any really low watt inline heater options. I have my Hydor heater ordered. Just hope, for the little work I'm asking it to do, that it will be a reliable out-of-sight addition (but visual subtraction) to my system. Got an inline co2 reactor coming also. Woohoo!
