Hydor smartwave circulation pump

Been looking into getting one of these but according to my research some people have had problems with it running other brand power heads. I have one hydor and 3 aqueon brands power heads. Just looking to everyone's opinion on the matter.

I sold my hydor smartwave. I kept hearing a loud clicking noise every time the hydor evolution turned on. Some people have success with the magnums not make noises. Other models of the koralia will not work.

Not sure about aqueon. You should find out the answer on the aqueon website.

I use mine with 2 Koralia Nano 425s and have no problems at all. No clicking...nothing.

Hmm maybe I'll pass on the smart wave than. Anybody know any that are less than$150. Most I've seen are digital and expensive. I've checked BRS, amazon, and drs foster smith.

Mr Saltwater Tank loves his...uses it to control 4 Hydor Evolution pumps with no clicking...
