Can I ask first why you think you need a UV? We also have a good article about UV`s in our SW article section.

Oh OK. Your best bet would be to remove and treat in a QT. The only bad thing about a UV is that only parasites that go through the lighted chamber will be affected. Those hidden and near the substrate will not be affected. That being said the Coralife Turbo twist is the best out there IMO. I had one for about ten yrs but when it broke a few yrs back I didnt replace it.

I have one of these Internal UV Sterilizer w/Power Head & Lamp Replacements - Sale - Fish - PetSmart And like it very much.

While a UV can help, I really think you ought to look for the root of the problem. There's a reason why the fish are sick, and it's not because you don't have a UV sterilizer.
