Has anyone had success with in-line heaters in a 105g tank or similar? If so, what kind would you recommend? The Hydor ETH in-lines look nice, but I'm not sure they can handle a tank that size.

I'm using a Hydor ETH 300 on my 70g and it works a treat, sits at a constant 24 degrees since installation in november.

Thanks for the reply, furryeggs! I just ordered one, so I hope it works for me as well as it has for you. I love the idea of having the heater outside the tank to minimize the clutter inside.

The hydor 300w is great I just to run 2 one on each of my pro 3

Hydor make 2 the 300w and a 200w each has a different hose size

The 300w is 16mm
The 200w is 9-112mm

The 300w is great but the 200w does have problems no idea why

Thanks for the info, T1. I'm getting the 300W, so I'm glad to hear that's the more reIiable option. I suspect I'll need to get a second one like you did, given the size of the tank.
