In line sump return pumps

So I've just brought home a 125 gallon I bought off craigslist and it has an external inline pump from the sump to the tank. It looks really heavy duty, has to be 6 inches long by 4 inches diameter. My question is does anyone know how long these pumps last? I'm hard plumbing it in when I redo the plumbing (well it will be able to be removed but still...) so I'm hoping it lasts a while.

How long do these usually last?
