Is low-iron or saphire glass worth the $$$?

The wife gave me the go ahead for my 200+ gal fowlr tank. I am still in the very early planning/research phase. During my research I have came across this low-iron or saphire glass (depending on the manufacture) tanks. My understanding is that they provide a clearer viewing. Is the benefit worth the extra money and are they as durable as the regular glass tanks?

IMO they aren't worth it. Next to each other you can see a difference, but do you ever look in a regular tank and think 'I wish this was clearer'? No.
