Is this driftwood?

Hey guys, I was wondering where this piece of wood is found online to purchase?

the dark reddish brick wood thats in this tank, I was wondering if this is safe for cichlids and if this is the type of wood that has tannins? Thanks

It has tannins and when you put it in the tank, the water will turn brown for a while! I reccomend soaking the driftwood for a few weeks or boiling for a few hours before adding to the tank.


I'm not sure where you can buy it online but if you have a fish store that specializes in fish, they usually carry driftwood if all sorts.
