is vinegar safe on acrylic?

Wondering what I can use to clean my acrylic tank inside and out before I start polishing it. Is vinegar safe, or will it cloud up the acrylic? And if it safe, in what ratio should I mix it with water?

You'll want to use plain distilled white vinegar. I know people use it on power heads as well. You can dilute it with water or just use it straight from the jug.
