Question Issues with Fluval 406 impellers?

Howdy. Just about ready to give up on my Fluval 406 canister. Before I do, has anyone else had problems with the impeller? (It started to rattle, I could not fix, just bought a new impeller, shaft, etc. supposedly for the 406, but now impeller does not turn at all. Anyone got a clue, cuz I don't.

I know there are a ton of Fluval fans out there, but. I rid myself of the Fluval headache, and went to Rena XP canisters. A much better filter IMO. Very reliable, and very easy to service. Lots of media space also.
