Iwaki pump

My iwaki pump won't suck anything up from the sump to the tank it just makes a bunch of noise

An Iwaki pump is not self-priming...... it will not pull an un-primed air suction the way you have it set up. Also, running it dry like that in an attempt to draw water can, and may have, damaged the impellor.
You either need to have a way to prime it, or drill the side of the sump at the bottom to give it a direct water supply (recommended).

Okay well I got my pump problem solved but how come I'm getting so much bubbles I'm my sump from my overflow?

And my iwaki pump seems to be getting very hot like to wear I can't old on to it.
