Koralia 240 or 425 and 12mm glass

Does anyone know the maximum thickness of glass that a Koralia 240 or 425 can be used on? I'm getting a tank made with 1/2" (12mm) glass and I'm wondering if the magnets on this pump would work.

If your tank is above 15g those pumps will do next to nothing.
