Hay does any one know how hot a 18 watt aqua one pl/uv lamp gets I'm just worried about my lid melting I have two t5 24 watt in there at the moment but just want more light any help would b great

I believe the lamp your asking about is for a UV filter and not for DT lighting.

No it is for use in aquarium its marine blue and white and not for uv filtration it's not the best bulb to have but it will have to do for now just wondered how hot it gets before leaving it on ?
