I have 2 55gal African tanks. Both tanks have sand as a substrate, and neither tank is planted.
The lighting on both tanks is the standard type with two 22" reflectors side by side, each having an 18" single flourescent bulb.
One tank is a mbuna with slate rocks and the fsh are acei, rusties, hongi, red zebra, pearl zebra,ob zebra, and hybrid, there are 2 of each mentioned.
The other tank is a peacock/hap tank with rock formations from rocks called rainbow rock which is a "whitish" rock with "reddish" lines running through it.
QUESTION...............What is the best type bulb to use in the existing reflectors to show off the fish and the tank. The bulb now in there is called "ECLIPSE NATURAL DAYLIGHT"
Thanks for any help you can offer
