bought an aquaeon 36" single tube strip light, and im kind of dissapointed. it came with a 24" 17 watt 8000k full spectrum lamp. its a t8 fixture.
i was wondering if there are any goid bulbs that i could buy to brighten up the tank.

are you trying to grow plants or just add brightness?
plants do best under 6700k and brightest light would be 10k. but it all has a lot to do with the depth of your tank

just brighten it up a bit, its not the brightest light.

The best place to buy bulbs is like lowes or home depot. They have all sorts of t8 bulbs for cheap!!

do they have bulbs that dont produce a yellow colorish light. my old one was blueish white, and it looked awesome.

That'd be a higher kelvin light. If you are going for a cool white/blueish, 10000k will be what you are looking for.

+1 to that!
