Light options for 45g cube

Any one know if 150watt hqi fixture would be ideal to use over a 45G cube mostly sps and lps I was going to go with 24" T-5- 6 bulb fixture but with only it being 144wats total thought why not just got with the 150watt hqi I have. If you have any other suggest Fiona please fell free to comment.
