Light Reflector

I have a Coralife t5 fixture and the light reflector is old and looks burnt. Would it be worth it to buy a new one? I have heard about painting the inside of canopies glossy white. Could I remove the reflector and paint it white or tape everything off and paint it white?

another cheap thing to do is to glue some mylar to it. You can get one of those cheap 2 dollar survival blanket things from the walmart camping section and cut to fit.

Cutting and siliconing mirror would work pretty good if your handy

I would not use paint if it burnt metal it would probably burn paint and I don't imagine those fumes are too healthy
