I have 33 gallon flatback......wondering what are good lights. I would like to keep the same lid. Thoughts

What do you plan on keeping, and do you have a pic of the hood?

Fish only you can pretty much go with anything that will fit the lighting opening. If heat is of import, consider an led fixture. They are not bad cost wise if you are not doing a reef system. What's the opening size where your current fixture resides?

Lid is perfecto...20w florescent. Opening is 28" by 4"

You would likely be fine with whatever gives you the look you desire. I'm a fan of led lights due to the life of bulbs, low heat output, and lower power consumption
