My low tech 12 gallon JBJ Nano Cube is still running the stock 2 PC 50/50 bulbs (2x24 watts intended for SW) on a FW setup. Since my plants are only able to use half the light spectrum from the 50/50's, which are the 10K daylight and not the blue actinic, I was thinking of switching out at least one of two bulbs to a daylight 6500K. There would still be one half of one bulb that would be actinic. So basically with this mix of lighting, it would be 1 x 50/50 (10k/actinic) and 1 x 6500k daylight bulb.

Would the color temps mix and be even in color (like slightly bluish but not as bluish as now), but with a nice white light with a hint of yellow? I'm trying to save money and upgrading just one of two bulbs is doable for my current budget. What do you guys think? Have you seen or have a tank with mixed color temp lighting? Anyone have a picture they mind sharing?
