Lighting For A 10 gallon

Is Coralife Mini Compact Colormax Lamp 20 Watt x 2 good for a 10 gallon or is Coralife Mini Compact 50/50 Lamp 20 Watt x 2 better? The first one is cheaper, so im leaning toward the first one, but which is better? Or is there some better ones that are cheaper? The first one cost $8.99 the second $9.99. Yea I know it's not much of a difference, but I'm a Highschool Freshmen with no job and no allowance. I spent $50 earlier on fish and stuff like that already. And I can't get my parents to buy me anything. So any suggestions? I want to get 5 Watts per gallon for my 10 gallon except I couldn't find any 25 Watts. Any suggestions are appreciated. And if you live in Houston, Texas and know of some good LFS I would like to know where they are.

You're in luck! The color/wavelength of 50/50 bulbs is designed for corals not freshwater plants. So the cheeper one will work better.

The only issue is, the top half of that screw in PC bulb is pretty much going to be wasted. They are 10watts each...but you'll only be sending about 6watts down into the tank per bulb.
