hey, i have two satellite 48'' 65watt compact fluorescent 2-lamp fixtures on my aquarium now and i am needing to replace 1 set of lamps. as of right now all four lamps are smartpaq 10,000/460nm actinic. i was wondering if it would be best to get some other types of compact fluorescent lighting. i am looking for the best light to produce coralline algae in. i have a FOWLR tank, thanks

It depends on what you like. I would replace all of the bulbs at once. Put one 10,000K and one actinic in each fixture.

Lighting plays a very small role in the production of coraline. Higher levels of CA with the proper CA/ALK balance are of much more importance in the growth of coraline.
