Lighting Scheme?????????????

How many hours a day should I light my tank?? I don't have any corals that require lighting, however, I do want to maximize the growth of coralline algae..

I light for a 12 hr schedule. The first and last hr are actintics only and the middle ten are the actintic and whites.

10 hour here now, but I am in a war with algae.
