If I left my lighting on all day beside algea blooms would it hurt anything??

I have a smaller tank and leaving the lights on makes the temp perfect without a heater.

any input would be great!

not sure long term issues but i keep my light on my fuge 24/7 and have had to put a fish in it from time to time with out issues !

I would think it would effect the fish after a while. How would you like it if the lights in your bedroom were on 24/7.

Most of my corals are burned out after about 10 hours. Some like even less light. My hammer coral probably wouldn't mind 24/7 light - it loves it. My torch coral would die after 24 hours. My toadstool and umbrella would hate it, too.

its at work so no problems there, I am probably going to get a timer for the lights

i have a nano @ work and I just put a timer on it since no one shares my room with me anymore and didn't have anyone to turn off my lights...
