Lights on/off ! Still have questions?

Hello! Ok so I am stuck, wanted to do the dusk to dawn effect with my lights but can't seen to find a good timer for it to work, bought a Coralife day-night timer, either I don't get the yellow on blue off but I think it's not working, do I have to buy more individual/separate timers? Any suggestions? Someone did suggest to me on other post that having both the blue and whites on at the same time
is still good. Any thought, advise???

Take the battery out. Put it back in. Set times. Wait 24hrs. Then plug in the cords. Also 1-2 can only work when the 3-4 are not. I thought you could run all at the same time but no.
