I have a JBJ 45 RL and it has a tiny chip in the center of the side glass. I am thinking of using a windshield repair kit. Has anyone used this sucessfully? Or does anyone have a better idea thats not buy a new one?

If it's in the center of the glass no matter what you do that is always going to be a weak spot that could burst out with pressure of the water pushing out on it ,
either replace the glass or replace the tank , or you could just use that tank for a small reptile ,
I wouldn't risk a flood it's not worth it I have had several in the past

I cant see what the picture is trying to show...

But I agree with the 54seaweed. I would buy a new tank.
