Look for good pump for sump

What is a good pump for my sump. I want something quiet and not that expensive. Anyone know a good kind?

I like Mag pumps but just upgraded to a DC pump. While the DC pump is more expensive it draws a lot less power so it should pay for it's self in a few months. Good luck!

IMO the mag pumps are about the same. Danner Supreme or Pondmaster are good. The size depends on your overflow and head height.

As for the DC pump I have a SpeedWave 2640 it has 6 speed settings and a feed delay.

Will it fit 1' PVC pipe?

The compact + 5000 will. Anything smaller is 3/4" I believe...
