Now it is bubbling away vigorously! Much more bubbles than my seaclone and way more quiet!!

Very pleased so far and no skimmate yet. Still waiting for it to break in.

I would still like peoples input on the tube idea.

Cool. The tube seems like a good idea. Break in with the octopus shouldn't be over a week

I rinsed it off with tap before hooking it up. But I wonder if I take it out and let it run in vinegar water for a bit if it'll decrease the break-in period time? You know, get all of those manufacturing oils off of it.

I wanted to update this.. it's broken in and pulling out some nice tea colored stuff. Raising the cup a bit higher to skim drier now.

Very very pleased.. and it's so quiet
