< Looking for a new filter >

Hi Gang

As the topic says I'm lookin for a filter. I have a 30 gal. long reef tank with about 30 lbs LR and 30 lbs LS. I still have some stuff falling off LR.When I hit it with a power head ...Pooooof. So what would be the best thing to get? Right now I'm running a Top Fin 60 HOB. I know, it can become a Nitrite haven. I clean the filters weekly. It just doesn't seem to do that well.

I am also running a 10 gal refuge/sump with a skimmer ( Berlin Airlift 60 ).

All water params are normal.Temp is 80 (+- 2)

I just did a water change and vacced the sand/rock and it still could be better ....I'm soooo tempted to pull out each rock and blast it with water J/K.
I have 8 turbo snails and 12 blue legged crabs for a clean up crew , maybe more?

Salt will raise your blood pressure,
Saltwater will lower it .

Are You Pondering What I'm Pondering?
I think so Brain, but there's still a bug in there from last time.

The stuff on the rock is it very fine material and is it coming out of the crevices. If so I think its normal life in the rock is producing it. Could use power head to blast or a plain out turkey baster.
